Agatti to Kochi flight Schedule Change from 20th November 2019 to 28th March 2020
As Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL)undergoing runway maintenance ( CLICK HERE for details) from 20th November 2019 to March last week in 2020, all flight operations to CIAL during 10 am to 6 pm are either re routed to nearby airports or rescheduled to CIAL between 6.30 pm to 9.30 am.
Agatti to Kochi Flight Schedule Change :
As a part of Kochi airport maintenance, the only 01 flight from Agatti island in Lakshadweep to mainland Kochi Air India flight AI 9506 is re routed to nearby Calicut International Airport (CCJ)- Karipur, Kozhikode for Wednesday to Monday and Agatti to Bangalore International Airport (BLR for Tuesdays.
Passengers who have already booked the tickets to Agatti to Kochi need not to be panic. They can travel with same ticket and this ticket will be automatically changed to Agatti – Calicut Ticket (Wednesday to Monday) and Agatti – Bangalore (For Tuesday).

How to reach Kochi from Calicut Airport?
Many Lakshadweep Visiting tourists might have already booked return air ticket from Kochi International Airport itself to their base location. So they can reach Kochi by train or a taxi vehicle.

Agatti flight reaches Calicut International Airport at 11.55 am. Very next most convenient train from Calicut to Ernakulam ( Kochi) side is Jan Shatabdi Express ( Train No: 12075) which starts from Kozhikode / Calicut ( Railway Station Code: CLT) at 01.45 pm and reach Ernakulam Jn / Kochi ( Railway station Code : ERS) at 05.20 pm. If your destination is Kochi International Airport, then take tickets for Aluva railway staion which is closer to Airport. The same train reaches Aluva by 4.40pm. From Aluva, you can reach Airport within 20 minutes by road.
Since there is 1 hr journey from Calicut airport to Kozhokode railway station, We suggest you to board the same Jan Shathabdi Express from next station called TIRUR. The same janashathabdi express reaches Tirur by 2.10 pm. So if you start from Calicut airport by a taxi to Tirur by 12.30 pm, You can easily reach Tirur station by 1.20 pm. So there is enough time to relax as well as for lunch.
